The Serman by Dr. King, mentioned in this article, can also be heard in audio on you tube. Though I am not a Christian, and still sometimes get triggered by sermons, I love when MLK says (paraphrasing), by the time we finish breakfast we have already commuted with half of the world. I have heard reminders by others about being grateful for what we have, through affirmation or acknowledgement, mindfulness or what not. But, the way

MLK said it, strikes right through that dangerous tendency to be independent or codependent. It acknowledges the energy of other places, other people, loudly through the coffee, the eggs, the chair, definitely bringin' in that belonging, that breath, that need to stay connected.
